A year later I manage to persuade the landlord to build a small apartment in an empty space wright next to the studio. (I made him an offer he couldn't refuse.)

My landlord was a collector of BMW oldtimers. He surprised me with the offer of exchange a painting for one of his cars. "Just pick the one you like." He said. So I did. Duh!
I chose a silver 3000 CS from 1978.

A little later I underwent an interview for a documentary about, well, me.

Art Fair Cologne. The reason I mention this one-man show, was that seeing this series of enamel paintings there I realized that, although they had their merits, they didn't do what I wanted them to do. It didn't succeeded to breathe emotion into them, the enamel paint simply didn't allowed that. And no, emotion wasn't the subject, but still…

Although nobody seemed to mind, al least not at the Art Fair in Cologne. In Germany they liked the idea that you can make a painting with what is in essential a car paint.
